Amber Pereira is a second-year Health Sciences student at Western University, majoring in Rehabilitation Sciences. She is currently involved in clinical research with CanSaRCC, where she explores her deep interest in cancer biology, particularly the complexity and individuality of each sarcoma. Amber hopes to contribute meaningful insight to under-researched areas of cancer and ultimately pursue a career in medicine. Outside of research, she’s a Level 8 RCM pianist, a dedicated basketball player, and a committed volunteer, supporting initiatives from stem cell recruitment to tutoring Ukrainian students in English. Her goal as a future physician is to walk alongside people through their most challenging moments and ensure everyone feels they have a shot at living an extraordinary life.
