Chaya Kumar (2024 - Current)

My name is Chaya Kumar and I am entering my second year at the University of Toronto, pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree. I am majoring in Biology for Health Sciences and double minoring in Biomedical Communications and Women, Gender and Sexuality Studies. Not only do I have a strong interest in the health science field and clinical research, but I also have a strong interest in wanting to make a difference in the science community. As a part of CanSaRCC, I intend to better improve the treatments for sarcoma patients across Canada by conducting data research. I am thrilled to work with CanSaRCC's team members and am looking forward to further expand my knowledge, and learn more about sarcoma and its clinical research.
