Ryan Trenholm (2024 - Current)
Research Student Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry NS Health Authority Halifax, Nova Scotia

My name is Ryan, and I just completed my third year at Elmira College, in Elmira, New York. There, I am a biochemistry major and an outfielder for the varsity baseball team. Outside of these, I am involved on campus in a variety of ways such as being the vice president of my class, and of the Gamma Sigma Epsilon chapter at my institution. Also, I contribute to research exploring a gene related to both Duchenne muscular dystrophy and the autism spectrum. This summer I am continuing my second year of working with the orthopedic oncologist team at the Halifax Infirmary in NS. I was able to observe the CanSaRCC patient data entry already being done at my site, familiarizing me with the mission and how it is being executed. Volunteering with CanSaRCC allows me to expand on and pursue my growing passion for clinical research in this field.
