Research Student Masters of Digital Health Technology University of Toronto,PMH/SickKids Toronto

I am a Master of Biotechnology candidate at the University of Toronto, specializing in Digital Health Technology. I joined CanSaRCC as a second-year year Medical Sciences student at Western University. I was trained in entering data to an extensive data network which was to be used across Canada with the goal of improving the understanding of treatments and impact for patients with sarcoma. I am able to take the concepts I learned in school related to subjects such as genetics and physiology and apply it daily to what I am tasked with. Over the past years, I have helped Dr. Peretz Soroka to run and develop the CanSaRCC Training Program as the organization continues to expand across Canada. CanSarCC has given me the opportunity to be a part of their greater mission of developing a high-quality network, upon which research across the country will be conducted. I look forward to continue working with CanSarCC in the future.
