Mrs. Joanne Poulin

Joanne has 25+ years of experience in the Capital Markets, and enjoys working with the innovative team at Narrowcontent; sharing financial information via social media. In honour of her son, a sarcoma survivor, she devotes time and energy to discovering the world of oncology through the Wilson Sarcoma Research fund at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre and supporting targeted research one event at a time. It’s been three years since her son, Patrick Wilson was diagnosed with stage 4 ERMS at age 19. After the first year, Patrick himself identified the need to bio- bank sarcoma tissue. With the remarkable collaboration of physicians, scientists, healthcare professionals, family and friends The Wilson Sarcoma Research Fund began. Since then it has inspired an even greater collaboration: The Canadian Sarcoma Clinical and Research Collaboration, CanSaRCC. For the health and well being of those affected by Sarcoma, more needs to be done.
